We defined a vision

In 2006, Coyote saw a Third Party Logistics Industry in need of change.

The shippers and carriers that comprise this industry were suffering from a stale environment of lackluster service and no leadership. There was one huge service provider, with thousands of very small, specialized players providing no real choice for much of the industry. We saw a need for a service provider focused on the needs of the customer but big enough to handle large volumes of freight. We saw an opportunity to get back into the business, armed with the technology, industry experience, and financial firepower to provide a choice.

We seized that opportunity to form a new company dedicated to providing great service at fair pricing with all of the capabilities our customers need. We built an entirely new kind of business, one dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our customers and carriers with every interaction.

We hired the best people, some experienced and some new to the industry, but all with a straight-forward, creative, driven, and somewhat irreverent personality that makes them fun to deal with while they get the job done. We have armed them with the best technology in the industry, and aligned their incentives to match those of our customers and our carriers.

We have already become the choice for customers who need a full range of transportation capabilities across North America and Europe. Some customers have entrusted us with all of their transportation needs, turning to Coyote for full transportation management operational support. Some rely on us as a core carrier on all or many of their lanes. Others have turned to us for overflow freight beyond the capacity of their core carrier base.

Each one of them is happy to finally have a real choice in the industry.
